<\/span>26 years in the Royal Norwegian Air Force with several functions and responsibilities at the RNoAF technical school. <\/span><\/p>\n

Head teacher in Technical English for most aircraft types and systems. Produced all training material and examinations. <\/span><\/p>\n

SME and head teacher for M10 Aviation Legislation, both EASA and EMAR 66 basic training in the RNoAF approved 147 Maintenance Training Organization. <\/span><\/p>\n

SME for all essay questions in the EMAR 66 and EASA Part 66 basic training course.<\/span><\/p>\n

Examination Manager in the RNoAF approved EASA 147 Maintenance Training Organization. <\/span><\/p>\n

BACKGROUND<\/strong>

<\/span>The EMAR introductory course was originally tailored on request from the first maintenance organisation in the Royal Norwegian Air Force holding an EMAR 145 maintenance organisation approval. <\/span><\/p>\n

A comprehensive course was required to effectively introduce and explain the concept of EMAR, the interconnections and relations within the airworthiness requirements, its historical context, and its implications for personnel in adapting to the new regulatory framework in their work environment. <\/span><\/p>\n

Specific focus was given to EMAR 145, Requirements for Maintenance Organisations, and EMAR 66, Military Aircraft Maintenance Licensing. However, all EMARs are presented and explained. <\/span><\/p>\n

The course proved to be useful for personnel in the initial process of implementing EMAR. Norwegian military airworthiness is regulated in accordance with the EMAR requirements. <\/span><\/p>\n

Since the introduction of EMAR in the RNoAF operating organisation, the course has been offered to a majority of technical staff and a significant number of administrative and other personnel engaged in the EMAR framework across all RNoAF air bases. <\/span><\/p>\n

This includes civil contractors such as KAMS (Kongsberg Aviation Maintenance Services) and Leonardo helicopters.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the years, this course has also served as a valuable resource for both updating training and providing initial training for new staff members.<\/span><\/p>\n

The course also served as a component of the conversion training designed for experienced technicians transitioning from national military maintenance personnel requirements to achieve EMAR approval. This was approved by the Military Airworthiness Authority in Norway, MAA-NOR.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Professional Assessment of Tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wenche has performed her job duties excellently. She possesses good professional knowledge and is a skilled educator. She has received very positive feedback from students in her role as a teacher. <\/span><\/p>\n

During the years the school worked to become an approved EASA PART 147 school, Wenche was an important and valuable contributor to understanding and applying EASA regulations. The regulations are in English, and the school has its MTOE and most of the teaching materials in English.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the school was approved as an EASA Part 147 organisation, Wenche contributed as Examination Manager and was involved in the daily work of developing the school’s operations manual (MTOE) to ensure it was always updated according to EASA regulations. In this work, Wenche has been of great benefit to the school and her colleagues.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through her work teaching the EMAR regulations to all air wings of the Air Force, she has been a significant contributor to the implementation of EMAR, which aims to enhance the safety and efficiency of air power production. <\/span>\n

Wenche has been a reliable and conscientious employee. She is engaged in her work and is always well-prepared for teaching. She is also a good mentor and supporter for the students.<\/span><\/p>\n
